Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £32,000 – £55,000 (Depending on Level)

MGR Recruitment are fortunate to be representing a Yorkshire based Surveying and Engineering practice.

As a Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer, you will play a pivotal role working on a variety of different projects in Yorkshire and beyond. The company are a medium sized practice who have been in business for the last 10 years. They work a variety of small to medium sized projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Setting out work in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Undertake Topographical surveys and Control networks
• Use of survey equipment
• Review best engineering/surveying options
• Checking and the setting out of other contractor’s work
• Quality assurance/RFI’s
• As-Built Survey’s
• Assisting with material take offs
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Preparing reports

Qualifications and Experience needed:

• A valid CSCS card is a mandatory requirement
• Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
• Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments
