Cad Technician
Location: Manchester | Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 per annum | Sector: Rail Surveying
The Role
This position is primarily office-based, where you will be instrumental in processing survey data, modelling, drafting, and producing reports for various rail and land surveying projects across the UK. You will collaborate closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Process survey data using N4CE and AutoCAD software
- Create detailed models and drafts based on survey findings
- Prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders
- Support site operations as required
- Collaborate with survey teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Transform raw data into deliverables that meet client specifications
- Participate in project planning and review meetings
- Maintain documentation and records of all surveying activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in rail surveying and data processing
- Proficiency in N4CE and AutoCAD software
- Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to undertake site visits when necessary
