The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive CAD Technician to enhance our survey team. In this office-based position, you will be responsible for creating precise survey drawings for a variety of projects, with occasional site visits to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate survey drawings using AutoCAD, BricsCAD and Revit
• Work with survey data and point clouds
• Support projects ranging from large-scale infrastructure surveys to bespoke construction schemes
• Collaborate with surveyors, project teams, and clients to ensure timely delivery of work
• Maintain high standards of quality in all drawings produced
• Assist in the integration of survey outputs into project workflows
• Participate in site visits to gather data and verify information
• Contribute to team meetings and project discussions

Requirements

• Experience in the survey or geomatics industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience working with survey outputs and point cloud data
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Desirable: Experience with scan-to-BIM or modelling from laser scan data
