Location: Buckingham  |  Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum  |  Sector: Site Engineering Civils

The Role

An experienced Site Engineer is sought to join a prestigious heavy civil engineering project as part of a significant initiative. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering precise survey data and ensuring the effective execution of various project work packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting setting out tasks for earthworks, structures, and infrastructure
• Performing GNSS surveys and establishing survey control points
• Processing as-built survey data and generating outputs
• Creating detailed drawings and survey documentation for project teams
• Ensuring high standards of quality assurance and accuracy in all surveying activities
• Establishing and verifying primary and secondary control networks
• Collaborating with designers and subcontractors to address site challenges

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
• At least 4 years of experience in heavy civil engineering projects within the UK
• Strong proficiency with modern surveying equipment, ideally Leica or Trimble
• Competence in CAD software and data processing
