Site Engineer

Location: Banbury  |  Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum  |  

The Role

An experienced Site Engineer is required to contribute to a major civil engineering project. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in delivering accurate survey data and ensuring the effective implementation of various work packages on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out setting out tasks for earthworks, structures, and infrastructure
  • Executing GNSS surveys and establishing survey control points
  • Processing as-built survey data and generating relevant outputs
  • Producing detailed drawings and survey documentation for project teams
  • Maintaining high standards of quality assurance and accuracy in surveying activities
  • Establishing and verifying primary and secondary control networks
  • Working closely with designers and subcontractors to resolve site challenges

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in heavy civil engineering projects within the UK
  • Strong proficiency with modern surveying equipment, preferably Leica or Trimble
  • Competence in CAD software and data processing
