Land Surveyor

The Role
The Land Surveyor will lead surveying projects, ensuring adherence to best practices while delivering high-quality outputs. The position involves both office and fieldwork, requiring travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow working instructions from internal and external clients
- Conduct topographical and geomatic surveys using Total Station, 3D Laser Scanning, and GNSS observations
- Process survey data and produce outputs using relevant survey software
- Compile comprehensive survey reports and documentation
- Maintain vehicles and survey equipment according to company standards
- Engage in internal and external training for professional development
- Adhere to all company and client policies when on site
- Support the Survey division through effective allocation of project tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using Total Stations and GNSS equipment
- Experience with 3D Laser Scanners is preferred
- Familiarity with n4ce and Trimble Realworks software is advantageous
- Possession of a CSCS card is preferred
- Relevant NVQ or degree-level qualification is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel
