Senior Land Surveyor
The Role
This position is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Land Surveyor to contribute to a range of surveying projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing topographical surveys and providing support to the Survey division while ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from both internal and external clients
- Conduct topographical and geomatic surveys using Total Station, 3D Laser Scanning, and GNSS observations
- Process data and produce outputs with relevant survey software
- Compile detailed survey reports and documentation in collaboration with the Project & CAD Manager
- Maintain and manage survey equipment and vehicles according to company standards
- Participate in training to enhance personal and professional development
- Provide mentorship and training to junior survey staff
- Comply with all company policies and client procedures while on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar surveying role
- Proficiency in using Total Stations and GNSS technology
- Experience with 3D Laser Scanners is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with n4ce and Trimble Realworks software is advantageous
- Valid CSCS card is essential
- Relevant NVQ or degree-level qualification is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel
