The Role

As a Monitoring Surveyor, you will join the monitoring team to assist with installation works on a significant infrastructure project. The role involves a combination of surveying, monitoring, and setting out tasks across the project area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting monitoring activities
• Performing digital precise surveys
• Installing survey control systems
• Occasionally carrying out setting out and as-built surveys
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy
• Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
• Documenting and reporting survey results
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy civil projects within the UK
• Proficiency with modern surveying instruments
• Adaptable and eager to learn new techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
