Monitoring Surveyor
The Role
As a Monitoring Surveyor, you will join the monitoring team to assist with installation works on a significant infrastructure project. The role involves a combination of surveying, monitoring, and setting out tasks across the project area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting monitoring activities
- Performing digital precise surveys
- Installing survey control systems
- Occasionally carrying out setting out and as-built surveys
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
- Documenting and reporting survey results
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience in heavy civil projects within the UK
- Proficiency with modern surveying instruments
- Adaptable and eager to learn new techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
